• Greenfields congratulated by David Laws MP!

  We were delighted to receive a letter last month from David Laws, MP and Minister of State for Schools, congratulating us on our KS2 SATs results last year.

  Mr Laws was particularly impressed with the improvements made in the KS2 results of 'disadvantaged' pupils.

  Only around a hundred schools across the country per year are chosen for this recognition so we are obviously delighted that our hard work and the attainment of the children is recognised by the Government.

• Greenfields "Best School in Nottingham"!

  We were absolutely delighted that Greenfields has recently been judged to be the "Best School in the City of Nottingham" according to a recent report in the Nottingham Post

  .

  The report is based on www.SchoolGuide.co.uk which compiles a list of schools based on various criteria (Free School Meals, Ofsted judgements, attendance, KS2 SATs results, etc) and is was great to see Greenfields listed in the top 5 schools and then as "best" school overall.

• "Greenfields Live" CD available

  We are delighted to let you know that the new "Greenfields Live!" CD has now been released!

  The CD, recorded last Summer and featuring all of the children in school at that time, features twelve songs.

  To launch the CD, we held a special concert in school on Tuesday 11^th November. At the concert, we performed many of the songs from the CD and a few extra ones too!

  Copies of the CD are now from the Office for a bargain£5 - it will make a great present for family members and friends!

  Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!
