Greenfields is fortunate to be eligible for PE and Sports Premium funding from the Government. This is money which is sent directly to schools according to the number of children who are eligible for Free School Meals. The PE & Sports Premium allocation for Greenfields for the financial year 2021-22 is £17,758.
We aim to ensure that these improvements are sustainable by using the funding to pay for specialist staff to teach PE and sports across the curriculum whilst also training teachers to continue this work. Teachers are expected to observe specialist staff working with the children and then learn themselves how to continue this provision.
