During Summer 1, our focus will be on exploring the fascinating history of Nottingham during the Industrial Revolution. Our theme, "I wonder how Nottingham was impacted by the Industrial Revolution," will guide us through an exciting journey of discovery.

We will delve into the changes that took place in Nottingham during the Industrial Revolution and explore how our city evolved from a market town to a bustling industrial hub. 

We will be reading the book Street Child by Berlie Doherty and will be writing a poem and a persuasive speech inspired by the book and the workhouse.
