During the spring term class 5 will be learning about the Industrial Revolution in Nottingham. We will look at how Nottingham changed during this period due to it's increased population and lace production. In English we will be using the novel 'Street Child' which tells the tale of a child during the Industrial Revolution. In Science lessons we're studying the properties of materials and looking at how different properties help us in daily life. 

In the second half of the spring term, we will be studying mountains, earthquakes and volcanos! Class 5 will think about how these incredible events occur and the impact they have on people's lives across the planet!
