Welcome to the Autumn term of Y3.

This half-term we're learning about the Ancient Egyptians as we take on the role of historians. We'll be learning about their achievements and their beliefs and how they have impacted life today. We'll also learn about the importance of the River Nile and how it supported farming. 

In DT, we'll be building on this knowledge to create our own Shadufs after exploring pulleys and levers. We'll evaluate, plan and create our own and test them against our design criteria. 

In Maths, we'll be learning about place value and recapping our 2, 5 and 10 x table. You can help at home with these too :).
