Welcome to class 4's page! 

Happy new year. We hope you all had a wonderful break and are feeling refreshed and ready for an exciting term ahead. There is so much to look forward to, and we can’t wait to get started. 

This half-term, our topic will be Nottingham Castle. We’ll be exploring its fascinating history of how it has changed over time. 

Important dates:

Trip to Nottingham Castle: Wednesday 14th January                                                                                           Please ensure that permission slips are returned by Friday 9th January. 

Great Orchestra Experiment at Albert Hall: Tuesday 24 March

Important information:

• Forest School will take place every Wednesday. Children will attend in alternating groups:

Group 1 – Week A

Group 2 – Week B

 Please ensure children come with appropriate outdoor clothing on their Forest School week.

• Homework will be sent home every Friday and is due back the following Friday
• PE will take place every Monday. Please ensure children have their full PE kit in school.

Times tables are a vital part of Year 4 learning. Please encourage your child to practise regularly on TT Rockstars to build confidence.
