Welcome to Class 4!

Hello and welcome to Summer Term in Class 4. 

Please note, PE will be on a Tuesday afternoon. Please help your child come prepared by sending them with a plain white t-shirt, black shorts or jogging bottoms and trainers. Long hair must be tied back and earring removed. 

Children will be answering our wonder question of the half term" I wonder what we learnt from the Ancient Maya"  They will be learning about where the Ancient Maya lived and about their settlements and society. They will link this with their Geography knowledge about South America. 

In English we will be using the text Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dhal and writing our own setting descriptions and imaginative stories.  

In Maths we are focusing on problem solving, using the 4 operations to solve multi-step word problems. The children have been working really hard to gain their times tables badges in school. An excellent achievement! Well done! All the children have  login details for TT ROCK STARTS. They can use at home as part of their homework.
