Thanks to a Nature Parks grant, we were able to build raised beds in each class outdoor area. 

These have enabled every class to grow plants from seed and plant them out. Classes, led by their Eco group members, have been watering and maintaining the beds and watching the produce grow. We have planted strawberries, tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, onions, pumpkins and sweet peas We plan to have a Harvest festival in October and prepare what we have grown - vegetable soups, jam, cakes and other dishes.
