Bhaviyarsi won our Earth Day poster competition ! 

On Earth Day, we started with a whole school assembly to mark the day and remind everyone that they have the power to clean up our beautiful Earth by doing small things to make a difference. 

Recycle and reuse as much waste as possible

Repurpose clothing and toys - give them to charities or friends to reuse. 

Use less water - turn off tap when brushing teeth, shower for 3 minutes, only boil as much water as you need

Use less energy - turn off lights and appliances, hang out the washing, walk, cycle or take the bus. 

Don't waste food - remember the food journey and how much energy has been used to create food. Remember those around the world with too little food ... 

Recycle paper - to save our trees

If we all try and do these things - we can make a difference (:
